High Frequency Clothing

Garments made to move in harmony with your body, your spirit, and the living world.

Chaka

Quechua

Bridge — the crossing between worlds, cultures, and continents. Drawn from the Andean Chakana cross, it is one word in which the whole soul of Saudade lives.

The Story

There is a word in Portuguese that has no direct translation in any other language. Saudade. It is the ache of longing for something or someone deeply loved — a place, a time, a feeling. It lives in the body as much as in the heart.

This collection was born from that feeling.

Arcana

Latin

Hidden mysteries — the secret sacred knowledge that has always existed beneath the surface of things, waiting to be remembered.

Chakana

The sacred cross. The four directions. The living map of all that exists.

Print Art

In collaboration with the wonderful Ecuadorian artist Sarahi.

In Quechua, chaka means bridge. The Chakana — the Andean cross — is the oldest bridge we know: between the world above, the world we walk, and the world within. Painted with the Ecuadorian artist Sarahi, it repeats across deep black in cobalt, green and gold — a whole field of bridges, and a protector. Made to be worn with intention.

Ixchel Cipher

The secret code of the weaving goddess.

Print Art

By Mayka.

The thread that protects the bridge. Ixchel is the Maya goddess of the moon, of weaving, of water and of birth — the great weaver who threads life into being. Beneath: the Chakana and sacred geometry.

Selva Nina

Selva on fire. For my sister, and for the forest.

Print Art

By Mayka.

Selva means jungle; in Quechua, nina means fire. I named this one for my sister, Selva, because of all five it is the one she loved most. Copper and terracotta over deep indigo — catch it in low sun and the whole thing turns amber.

Pacha Azul

The blue world. Where the earth remembers the cosmos.

Print Art

In collaboration with my dear friend, the talented Bolivian artist Anki.

In the Andes, pacha means world — the earth, the cosmos and time itself, all at once. Dreamed up over a long time with my dear friend, the Bolivian artist Anki: sunflowers and leaves drawn in neon line over deep indigo, floating like constellations, every stem tracing a thread between one living thing and the next.

Pacha Verde

The green world. The living earth in full bloom.

Print Art

In collaboration with my dear friend, the talented Bolivian artist Anki.

The green world. Painted again with Anki, and the most alive of the five: luminous line botanicals in lime, teal and magenta over deep green-black, mirrored into a single blooming symmetry down the back.
