The Frequency Of Fabrics

Like the rhythms of nature, fabrics carry frequencies too. At Saudade we are all about weaving in the highest frequency!

What is Frequency?

Everything in the universe has a vibrational frequency, which refers to how often something oscillates or repeats its motion over a specific period. In physics, frequency describes how often a wave—such as sound, light, or electromagnetic energy—repeats in one second, measured in Hertz (Hz). For instance, a sound wave with a frequency of 60 Hz vibrates 60 times per second. Vibrational frequency can be measured using specialized tools like vibrometers or spectrometers. This frequency can affect how objects or materials interact with their surroundings, including the human body. Natural materials like cotton and linnen, for example, resonate at frequencies harmonious with the body, promoting relaxation and well-being, while synthetic materials have lower frequencies that can disrupt energy balance.

– The human body’s signature frequency is 100mHz. It can vary from 70 to 100. A frequency lower than 62 indicates a compromised immune system.

Super Fabrics

Linen

Made from flax – 5000 mHz

  • Sleeping in linen helps a person fall asleep faster and deeper.
  • Improves mood.
  • Rapid healing from surgeries and healing, which is why hospitals have used linen sheets in the past.
  • Resistant to fungus and bacteria.
  • Barrier to some diseases.
  • Regulates body temperature – Warm when cold, cools when warm.

Cotton - healthier but not a super fabric

Organic cotton –  70 to 110 mHz

Non-organic cotton, bleached and/or dyed – 40 to 70 mHz

There are different articles showing that cotton can have a much higher signature frequency, even up to 400 mHz.

Wool

5000 mHz

Something very interesting and important: These should be worn separately; Wool’s energy flows from left to right, whereas the frequency of linen flows right to left.  Mixing these two together will cancel out the healing effects to zero.

– There is so much innovation in textile. Almost any fiber can be waved into a fabric. Using plastic is terribly unsustainable and unhealthy. We must take action and stop fabricating plastic clothes. For our health and the health of the planet!

Hemp

” Plant a lot of hemp in the land of Fukashima. Hemp’s vibration has the potentiality to purify the contaminated environment made by radiation.
It grows fast and uses very little water.  The soil it grows in doesn’t require rotating for many years.  It doesn’t deplete the nutrients from the soil as with cotton, which constantly should be rotated.” – Dr. Masaru Emoto

Benefits Of Hemp

  • Has an extremely high vibration
  • Is at least 4x stronger than cotton and doesn’t breakdown after multiple washings as with other garments
  • Breaths better than other fabrics preventing odor
  • Color doesn’t fade as with other natural fabrics
  • Has a naturally filtering UV light helping to protect the skin
  • Pampers our skin more after each time it is worn making us healthier
  • Is rich in vitamins
  • Can be used to feed live-stock and humans too.
  • Is resistant to bacterial growth.
  • Water resistant
  • Fire resistant
  • Controls body temperature and home temperatures.  When it’s cold, hemp will provide heat, when is hotter hemp will cool.

Low Frequency Fabrics: no healing fabrics is just about everything else that is synthetic

  • Rayon, made of wood pulp, including bamboo – up to 15
  • Polyester, made from petroleum – up to 10
  • Spandex, Lycra, and elastane, made from polyurethane synthetics – up to 15
  • nylon, synthetic polymers – up to 15
  • Silk – up to 15.  Made from silkworms just after they’ve spun themselves into a cocoon to transition into a silk moth.  Cocoons are boiled (with worms in) to unravel the fibers.

Constant use of low energy fabrics can cause inflammation, illness and even emotional issues. Chemical dyes of clothing can also be damaging.

Benefits of wearing high frequency fabrics

Comfort and Stress Reduction:

Natural fabrics, due to their harmonious frequencies, may help reduce stress and promote relaxation and a sense of well being, making them ideal for clothing, bedding, and other everyday use.

Energy Flow:

People sensitive to energy may feel more “drained” when wearing synthetic fibers, as these materials can block or disrupt the body’s energy fields.

Wearing high frequency fabrics can help you balance the body’s energy fields, improve circulation, and boost the immune system.

By prioritizing sustainable and ethical manufacturing practices, we can support both our own well-being and the health of the planet.
